Bucking the trends — everything I know (part 1)
We love us some Buckminster Fuller. The free-thinking Harvard castoff and inventor of the Buckyball might well be referred to as one of the forefathers of the sustainability movement. Not only did he leave behind a multitude of mind-bending inventions and revolutionary designs, he also had the foresight to help create an extensive library of his own writings and interviews documenting a unique approach to life, the universe and everything, most notably in the ‘Dymaxion Chronofile’. With ‘Everything I know’, an extensive 42 hour series of interviews with Fuller which is part of a massive collection housed at Stanford University, the video quality may be low, but the level of dialog is high. For those more inclined to read than watch and listen, the transcripts are housed here at the Buckminster Fuller Institute. Definitely worth checking out.
